Today, I got to sit in the bright beautiful light of Spokane’s South Hill.  The shoppers and passers by were very kind.  I love this kind of gig.

There is a lot of background, traffic noise and talking, but that’s how you  know it’s live!

If you find yourself on Spokane’s South Hill on Saturday morning, come on by. The lady who owns the house is super nice and has wonderful things to sell. I’ll be singing away in the yard and would love an audience.

I love singing acapella in a room with crazy acoustics.  This was pure serendipity.  I wrote this song about 12-14 years ago back when I was studying music at Eastern Washington U. I sang it with a simple cello accompaniment for my junior recital. Today it seemed perfect because it is so calm and still today. I’m feeling peaceful.

Hey All,

So my master plan for today is to head out to Huckleberry’s on 10th and Monroe between 4:30pm and 5pm and play for a couple of hours.  Hopefully it wont be too rainy or hot or windy, and hopefully a few people will stop on by.

There is a beautiful view from the front of the store, and there is a nice place to sit and drink icy cold beverages or have a little picnic.

This is more footage from my outing yesterday.  It’s funny how songs from my youth are coming back into my life.  I spent a lot of my life performing with pop/rock bands.  I’m loving the freedom of folk music.
